Seventh antagonist

First, what is Cholera?

Cholera is a pandemic that began in Indian cities, and was expanded across the continent Africa and Asia, In 1817,
In the century XIX.
It was discovered and studied by the Italian Filippo Pacini in 1857,He discovered and described the bacterium, Vibrio cholerae:
The Vibrio cholerae, is a gram-negative, curved bacillus belonging to the family Vibrionaceae, mobile, flagellated, does not form spores, measures 2 to 5 microns long, survives at temperatures between 22oC and 40oC and grows well in alkaline media.
Cholera is an acute intestinal infection caused by bacterium Vibrio cholerae, either type O1 or type O139, It includes two kinds of biotypes: The classic and the TOR varían. And the two biotypes are separated into two main serotypes that are Ogawa, Inaba and rarely a third serotype that is the Hikojima.
Cholera is suspected of very watery diarrhoea, in high volume and high frequency in endemic areas. It's a picture with little inflammation. Blood count: presence of leukopenia although salmonellosis toxin can also cause it. Stool test: no leukocytes in the stool. There are other scans that although important in the diagnosis of epidemics have no clinical relevance to a particular case:
Direct examination of vibrion in faeces. Relatively aseppt diarrhea Cholera is suspected of very watery diarrhoea, in high volume and high frequency in endemic areas. It's a picture with little inflammation

• Cholera is deadly if not treated immediately.
• A professional doctor can treat her •
• Medical diagnosis required
• Laboratory tests or imaging studies are always required
• Acute: heal in a matter of days or weeks
• Serious: needs urgent attention
The bacterium is present in swampy and contaminated rivers, Specifically, in the river Ganges, Located in India. The contagion is by intake of water and food contaminated by faeces
The symptoms caused by cholera include:
Areas of pain: abdomen
Gastrointestinal: severe diarrhea, liquid diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
The whole body: dehydration, lethargy or hydroelectrolytic disorder
This requires immediate medical attention, in severe cases.
And now, I'm going to talk about an experience said by my mom
Let's remember that Peru and Ecuador were the most affected countries in Latin America thanks to Cholera, with Thousands of causes
When my mom graduated as a doctor, she had to do rural medicature, which is mandatory in our country, She was surprised to see one of the last cases of cholera. In the bed where the patients are, They had a gluteal-level hole and a plastic going into a bucket, that was used to get the patient's bowel movements collected in that bucket. She was surprised that the faeces were colored like rice water, because already losing nutrients, it’s so intense that you lose electrolytes and proteins, then basically not expelling anything.
Conclusion
As we can see, there have been pandemics throughout our lives, from the plague of Justinian to the Coronavirus, so we realize that new pandemics are coming, and each time we have to learn from each of them So we can say that the only solution that I can accept is education, that is, to obey first and foremost that we are in serious danger and have to up the orders they give us, so we avoid more catastrophes So if on future occasions, a new pandemic occurs, we have to leave ignorance behind and take care of each other, obey orders, and obviously stay calm, as on other occasions there can be a lot of stress or fear What we can do is meditate and not think about what the end of the world will be, and seriously, It's time to lose the ignorance

Transmission through water or contaminated food
